One favourable pool result cannot establish performance for every shape, drain and debris load. The cordless unit still has to be lifted, rinsed and recharged after use.
The Pool Nerd
The Pool Nerd confirmed that the front active brush can reach the waterline and that the Seagull Pro offers broader coverage than Aiper's entry-level floor-only models.
In that test the 21-lb dry robot was difficult to retrieve, sometimes stuck on the main drain and did not climb to the waterline consistently. Pool geometry changes the result substantially.

Health Canada's recall is specifically for Seagull Pro model ZT6001 and listed older Canadian ASINs. RoboStead's current buying route identifies the different ZT6002 model.
